The first introduction of this species of evergreen blueberry from the tropical alpine slopes of Mt. Kinabalu in Sabah on the island of Borneo, where it grows alongside Rhododendron ericoides. This species features tiny, glossy evergreen foliage adorning stiff, upright branches with reddish new growth and masses of small white flowers. Best in a container in colder regions. A stunning foliage plant.
