One of the best all-around garden plants in the genus. This easily grown species is adaptable and very floriferous. The flowers, in shades of white to pink or rose, are borne in abundance in late spring. A vigorous and upright growing shrub. These are grown from seed collected in the wild, and, to quote Jens, “Great evergreen form with large sometimes scented, very pale lavender flowers”. Easily grown and fine in sun or shade - this species makes a great hedge or screen.
