Similar to its close relative strigillosum but with shaggy vs. bristly hairs and pink to white flowers with purple nectar pouches. Forms an upright shrub and flowers in early spring. These are grown from seed collected in the wild in a newly explored region. This form features really beautiful new growth and distinctively hairy young stems. Best in light shade.
