This is a dwarf and mounding evergreen shrub from the subalpine slopes of the Himalaya Mts. It features fragrant glossy foliage with a pure white lower surface, smooth and peeling red-brown bark and pink bells in spring – very nice. From seed collected in the wild, this variety of this widespread Himalayan species is rarely seen in gardens. Sun or light shade. Fantastic bark and foliage on this choice species.
