One of the "big-leaved" species with leaves up to one foot in length. A magnificent foliage plant with equally impressive flowers (early spring) that range from white to rose pink or white and pink candy-striped and are borne in a large showy inflorescence - usually with purple flecks and a basal blotch. These are grown from hand-pollinated seed produced here at the RSBG.
