Only recently introduced from a newly explored region of the Sino-Himalaya. As seen in the wild, these were stunning foliage plants – very similar to the obviously closely related species bureavii and bureavioides but lacking the thick indumentum on the lower leaf surface. A very uniform population on a single mountain (but literally thousands of plants – it was the dominant species). Very beautiful glossy foliage. Probably pink to white flowers in mid-spring. Best in light shade with good drainage.
