Hydrangea angustipetala 'Golden Crane'

A newer offering of this stunning species Hydrangea that features highly fragrant flowers (very unusual for a hydrangea!). The lacecap flowers (midsummer) feature showy white outer sterile florets (fading to yellow) surrounding creamy yellow inner florets. Protect from hot afternoon sun in most climates. Like any hydrangea, this can be cut back to reduce overall size. A selection from a Dan Hinkley collection in southern China.
