This is a stunning un-named plant we received from Bovees Nursery. It closely matches the description of the famous species hellwigii but does not quite fit taxonomically and I am assuming it is a hybrid of that species. Large, darkly indumented leaves and very large and fleshy, pinkish-red (but looking quite red from a distance) flowers. Quite striking.
