A beautiful and very hardy deciduous azalea with fragrant pink flowers in mid-spring before the leaves emerge. Easy in sun or shade - the floral fragrance reminds me of bubblegum. Red to purplish fall foliage color. These are grown from seed collected wild in Tucker Co., West Virginia. Best in sun or light shade in the Pacific Northwest.

Compact and small-leaved evergreen shrubs with pale to deep pink flowers (sometimes white) in mid-spring. The attractive foliage is often blue-green on the upper surface with a glaucous white coating on the lower. Grown from seed collected in the wild. Bright red stems and wavy-margined leaves. Easy and tough in sun or light shade and relatively drought tolerant once established.

An easy and floriferous species, related to yunnanense and augustinii but with white flowers. Shiny blue-green foliage and an upright habit. Looks great blooming with augustinii and/or davidsonianum. Makes a fine screening plant. Easy and vigorous in sun or light shade.

The small, glossy, deep green leaves are arranged in whorls around the stems. The pure white, openly funnel-shaped flowers are borne in terminal clusters and are very attractive, appearing repeatedly throughout the year. This very rare species was not introduced into cultivation until 1989 when it was first collected in its native Philippine Islands.

This is a newly described and named species closely related to, and similar in appearance to the species R. sichotense and R. ledebourii. It differs from those two species in many minor botanical characteristics and by its larger overall size and larger and showy purple to pinkish-purple flowers. An early spring blooming large evergreen shrub for sun or light shade. This is endemic to the West Sayan region of southern Russia. Grown from seed collected in the wild and our first offering of this first introduction into cultivation. Great thanks to our good friend Konstantin Cherezov for finding, describing, introducing and sharing this beautiful new plant with us.

This alpine species forms a dense mound of small and shiny, fragrant foliage. Purple to reddish-purple flowers in late spring or early summer. Very rarely offered and very slow growing. Best with excellent drainage and summer irrigation. Nice large specimens this year.

A rarely grown species with large and rounded, golden-brown scaled foliage and large, deep red flowers. A relatively poorly known species and rarely offered for sale. Native to Papua New Guinea. Large plants this year.
