A rarely grown evergreen shrub with a very bushy habit and glossy "holly-like" leaves. This plant seems like any another broad-leaved evergreen shrub until the flowers emerge in late summer. At that time, you cannot help but notice the stunning display of blossoms. The small yellow-green flowers are borne in long (up to 12 inches!) pendulous and very narrow racemes, providing a very striking and beautiful display. Easily grown in a sunny location with good drainage. Native to western China, this is our first offering of this amazing plant.
