This is a slow-growing plant with small rounded and glossy green leaves in pairs along the trailing stems. The leaves are often marked with white veins and are quite attractive. The flowers are small but very lovely and quite fragrant in spring. These are followed by showy red berries in the autumn and the combination of green foliage, white veins and red fruits is most attractive through the long winters of the east. These are grown from our collection of seed in the southern Appalachians from a very vigorous form with stunning foliage and masses of fruit.\u003c\/div\u003e","brand":"Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden","offers":[{"title":"Small Band","offer_id":42890911252547,"sku":null,"price":13.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0655\/3865\/4275\/files\/Mitchella-repens.jpg?v=1767816414","url":"https:\/\/shop.rhodygarden.org\/products\/mitchella-repens","provider":"Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
