This slowly creeping groundcover spreads by means of bright yellow rhizomes – hence the common name. The finely cut, glossy and leathery foliage rises to only a couple of inches from the ground. In spring, the delicate flowers have narrow “threadlike” white petals and are not particularly showy, but this is a beautiful small-scale groundcover. Best grown in woodland conditions and rarely available for purchase. This clone represents a new collection from the now northernmost known population of this species - a pretty substantial northern range extension into central Washington.\u003c\/div\u003e","brand":"Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden","offers":[{"title":"Small Band","offer_id":42890905288771,"sku":null,"price":12.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0655\/3865\/4275\/files\/Coptis-laciniata-1k.jpg?v=1768175847","url":"https:\/\/shop.rhodygarden.org\/products\/coptis-laciniata","provider":"Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
